4/30/2009 Chase Forecast
It appears that today could be a decent chase day in Oklahoma where a boundary, deep moisture, HIGH Cape, sufficient shear, and multiple OFBs will setup. After looking at the RUC it appears N OK will be the best play where a stationary boundary will setup from NE-SW from Wellington down through Enid and into the TX Panhandle as an OFB looks to setup along US412 in N Oklahoma where it appears several supercells track across throughout the afternoon and evening. If a storm can interact with an OFB then there is a good bet at tornadoes similar to yesterday! We will be leaving at 9:30 for the Perry, OK area to start. Stay tuned to the live tracker.
