It could happen based off of last nights model runs. The SPC has issued a Mod Risk over C/E Kansas mentioning long lived supercells with strong tornadoes. Today looks like the setup of the year with a classic warm front tornado outbreak looking like a real threat. We have no real target right now due to on going convection and we will be watching the progression of the warm front closely before heading out. It will likely be between highway 54 and I70 in C Kansas. We like the sunny conditions south of us and I walked outside a second ago only to see a nice elevated supercell with a nice updraft and long beaver tail. People in C Kansas seriously need to be watching the weather closely today!
