Tough Chase Season, Hoping for a Better Future.

This season was supposed to be our best ever my dad had extreme flexibility and things were going slow at school. However the best season ever quickly turned into a spiraling disaster in which i have wasted months and months seeing not much other than small, weak, or brief tornadoes. With two near misses that I still feel horrible about near Roll and Kirksville and not chasing April 29 due to distance which isn't a big deal and then not being able to chase on June 5 in SE WY with my target of Cheyenne because of lack of chase funds which is a first for us it has been pretty horrible. When I started chasing we were seeing tornadoes every time there were any as long as we were there and not having near misses. 2008 was not so good since we didn't get out enough and this year we got out more than ever only to see a few weak tornadoes I wonder if I really am cut out to chase. I love every minute of it when I do it right, but lately I have made poor decisions and I have been really over thinking when out in the field. I have learned from my mistakes and it paid off yesterday with the best tornado of the year for us, which wasn't very good but I just did what I used to do and it worked. Unfortunately it seems it is too late, we are very tight on cash right now and with an incredible setup tomorrow that we may not even be able to chase. Everyone who has scored this season needs to be really grateful because it absolutely sucks to be at the other end of the spectrum. I know the future looks bright and next season I won't make the mistakes I have made this year and we will have our best season ever as long as there are tornadoes. There is always the fall too and possibly the summer occasionally. Just a pointless rant I had that I needed to get off of my chest because this season has seriously been an emotional roller coaster. But starting right now missing tornadoes will NOT happen if we are chasing and within 50 miles of it.
